Can IPOD Touch software be updated?
Have been looking at ipod touch 16gb version 1, you can get this cheaper if you buy the one without the latest software revition.
Can you update the software through wifi connection, to the latest software reviition?
( I know it can't be updated to the version 2 ipod touch )

You have to pay $9.95/€7.99/£5.99 to buy the 2.1 update from the iTunes store on your computer. You can't update your software from the iPod itself, only from iTunes on a computer.

i think when u plug it into itunes it updates the software it does with all ipods so im guessing yes it would.

I actually have the very similar difficulty as crazygirl. Already payed 10.60 w/ tax, yet after I commence the receive it says I "do no longer have permission to get admission to the mandatory source" and tells me to analyze my information superhighway connection, it really is for sure operating fantastic.
