how did you decide how many kids you wanted?

While my wife was in the hospital, in labor with our third boy, I looked at my job, my income, my wallet, and the projected costs, and we decided "NO MORE." So when the boy was born later that day,and were trying for a good name, we decided it was best to call it "Quits!" So, that was it!

(My baby boy - he's now 34 - just last year figured out why his middle name was "Quits" when his wife gave birth to his second child.

I didn't decide, I just knew i wanted more than 1, I have a 4.5 yr old son, 3 yr old daughter & 5 month old son & an angel baby that wasn't meant to be :( I think 3 is enough for me but maybe when my youngest is in full time school i will see how i feel but by then i hope to have qualifications so i can get a good job...who knows, what is meant to happen will happen.

I had an illegal abortion at 16.

My first living child born in 1968 died in 1973. Husband #1, we had 2 kids(one died). #2 & I had a set of twins, #3 didn't want children, he said 3 kids plus a wife was enough responsibility .#4, we weren't married long enough to make the decision. Married #5 in 1980, waited till 1990 had a set of twins girls. 1991 had a hysterectomy.

I worked, went to college and taught school all those years.

I want two kids.

Two because I want an older boy and a baby girl.

I have a list of favorite names:

Jace

Aiden

Hayden

Mae

A few are unisex names, so it's up to my husband what he likes I guess.

Ahah, I have it all planned out and I'm not even out of high school!

But I don't want kids until I finish college and I'm stable with my job.

That's the deal and I won't budge.

I can only imagine how expensive and painful child bearing is, so I only want two, but if God blesses me with more, then that's the way it was supposed to go I guess. [:

I definitely want more than one child, but my decision will be based very much on the living situation and money, mostly. There was a time a dreamed of a six kids, but I am thinking of four now, both biological and adopted. We'll see what will happen..

Two or none.Now or never.I was an only child and found myself lonley a lot,so I didnt want to do that to my children.So I picked two and planned them close together 13 months apart and had a blast raising them.I ended up being a single Mom and 28 years later would change nothing.They are really wonderful humans!And still fun.What more could a Mom want?Except grandchildren.Hear me Sons?(:>E

I have a brother, and were at similar ages, two years apart

and i think its very expensive have two kids so imagine having 4,5,6 or more

and buying christmas presents, holidays, school trips, birthday etc.

Could be pricey.

So if im can afford it i'd like to have 3 or 4.

i want 1 or 2 kids

I played eeny meenie mini moe and tossed out the 11 kids I didn't want.

I recommend mothers and fathers of 4 or more to try this

If I am rich than I want 3 or 4 xD ( a lot I know)

I have 3 older siblings and it was total madness in a good way lol...we were always up to something crazy..and still are lol our parents thought we were crazy or we had a cult or somethind lol xDDD jk but they did think we were crazy
