Well, Snow is on the ground in Michigan and I just cant seem to put my bike away?

I just don't want to put it away for the winter yet, Our 10 day forecast in all in the 30s. I am not a die hard must ride at freezing temperature guy, but still hoping for at least a 50 degree day left this year. Anybody else feel like this?

I 'm looking at about the same forecast. I got a ride in last night, but there's snow on the ground now. I'm thinking there'll be more at least 40+ days coming. Just gotta get the roads clear.

I have a 9-3 coverage coverage for my motorcycles. i do no longer stay in an area that helps 4 season driving. So the motorcycles get positioned up December a million through March a million. i will't journey contained in the snow. chilly is high quality. also might want to be careful with the first rides of the three hundred and sixty 5 days. might want to nicely be a lot of salt on the roads. Acts the picture of gravel on a street.

With the proper cold weather gear I plan to ride all winter.

Of course, here in North Carolina (east of I-95) that consists of mostly around 40 degrees & maybe a cold rain. I'd rather ride in cold &/or rain than drive most days.

Freezing may be my limit, I don't know yet.

EDIT: last two days, 30 & snow flurries(VERY light), I felt like a snowman, but I still rode!

    Source(s): just my two cents

I feel exactly the same. I went for a nice ride this weekend. 40 degrees and a few scattered raindrops never scared a person who really likes to ride. 30 degrees and sunny is my limit though. I'm too scared of black ice to go out any colder than that.

GOOD MAN! I just put racing tires on my bandit to get a bit better grip in the winter months. I'm not gonna put mine away. If there isn't ice on the roads, I'm riding.

i love my bikes. i still have my vstar 650 ready to go. and in colorado, there's a pretty good chance i can ride a day or two every other week. provided those nice days are far enough from a blizzard. and with my new heated "garage", i can keep it ready to go all winter (and not freeze my balls off in the morning)

I'll ride all winter here unless there's ice on the road. No winter storage for me.
