Do you like to haggle over the price of something?

I always used to pay the full price for something until a friend showed me how to 'haggle' and get a 'special price' (it's quite an art form) - often resulting with up to 50% less than the asking price.

So my question is... do you ask for less or just simply pay the price?

I ask the price and if it is more than I am willing to pay, I just walk away. I don't like to haggle over prices.

The only haggling I do is in business but when it comes to shopping, I only go to places where I don't need to haggle. I enjoy shopping and I hate to ruin the moment by the hassle of haggling.

depend on where ur buying.. if u see a few shop that sells the same products..u go to one bargain and pretend to walk to the other shop if this fellow is not negotiating..sure u get what price u want

ok now if u are at the shop ..the only shop that sells what u want.. bargain but dont put pressure.. just say

i always come here u know.. but u dont give me the right price..pls lah..

and u will get atleast a bit of reduction..

but all this never happens in mall or shopping centers..pick the item pay and pack..and walk

i *hate* haggling over a price - however, my *mom* is an expert at it! - so, i just bring her with me whenever i'm buying something, lol.

    (btw, i'm not a kid - i'm just a 30+, price-haggling hater! ;) )
