what is conexant hsf v92 56k rtad speakerphone pci modem?

I have an old computer, and deleting some programs I don't use anymore, and came across this conexant hsf v92 56k rtad speakerphone pci modem. Could somebody please tell me what this is, and do I need it. I am using clearwire internet. Any help would be awesome, Thanks.

    This is a program for your modem. If you don't use your Dial Up phone modem (as in, have high speed internet and don't plan on switching back) then you don't need this program. Even if you do plan on switching back, I seriously doubt you would nee this for proper functionality of your modem. It's junkware that allows you to test your dial-up modem, etc.

    I would think that most of the time these PCI modems find it hard to install themselves even when you do find them My advice will be to get a new one and install it or better still move up to broadband

    sounds like your sound card,

    dont go round deleteing old programmes, you may need them again!!
