i have a triangle all 3 sides are identicle one side is 7p another is q+10 and the last is 2(p-3q) find the...?

    If all 3 sides are identical

    Side A = 7p

    Side B = q+10

    Side C = 2p - 6q

    So,

    7p = 2p - 6q

    5p = -6q

    p = (-6/5)q

    Side A = 7 * (-6/5)q = (-42/5)q

    Side B = q + 10

    (-42/5)q = (5/5)q + 10

    (-47/5)q = 10

    q = -50/47

    p = (-6/5)(-50/47) = 60 / 47

    So, p = 60/47 and q = -50/47

    The perimeter = 7p + q+10 + 2p - 6q = 9p - 5q + 10

    9(60/47) - 5( -50/7) + 10 = 540/47 + 250/47 + 470/47 = 1260/47

    The perimeter is 1260/47
