What is the benefit of a higher megapixel camera, 10mp vs 8mp. Is it worth the extra money?

Or is it more of a headache if your trying to email a picture.

    In enlarging a photo 8X10 or 11X14 you will never see a difference.

    Megapixels only come into play when you print pictures.

    So if you're not printing photos on A3 sized paper, go for the 8mp.

    No, not at all. You'd be hard pressed to see the difference, even if we'd print a 13x19" image. The only thing more mega pixels do is increase digital noise.
