    l'istante means in Italian "instant"

    for instance:

in un istante - in a moment

    ad ogni istante - momentarily

Like many fashion names, it's Italian.

It translates almost perfectly with the english word "instant". They both have the same Latin route word "instans" which had the same meaning.
