Any tips for shooting HD video?
Just got an Canon HG20 and would like to know if anyone has any tips to shoot video in HD. What would the best camera settings be just to shoot video around the house and to shoot video outdoors.

The camera's defaults are a good place to start... Once you understand what the "easy setttings" are, then pick one and play with it... like shutter speed (faster or slower) and see what it does... But play with the manual items one at a time so you understand how they make an impact - then start mixing them.
