?? About my bedroom TV?

We are planning on buying a new tv but not until after the holidays. The tv we have now comes on by itself and goes off by itself, then comes back on and starts flipping channels by itself. What the heck is wrong with it?? No I do not have ghosts in my house either. LOL!!

Update:

I changed the batteries in the remote and even took the batteries out and it still goes haywire.

    you shoud check the back of your t.v. or call the cable guy . i myself dont believe in ghosts so you probably dont have any
