Would this song be appropriate for a High school talent show?

Well, my band and i are going to be performing at our school's talent show next year and we have mostly decided on a song, but are wondering about the lyrics. the song Seether's "No Jesus Christ" and although there is no bad language or anything that would need to be censored.

im almost positive that we are going to play it anyway, i jsut dont want to get suspended becouse of it

Thanks

well, you guys must be pretty talented to be able to play that, but I don't think that people will like it..especially because of the "no jesus christ" part.

Try something a little more..well, happy or something.

I'm in high school too, and my teachers would definitely not like it!

    :] hope i helped!

I would not play just solely because of the words "no jesus christ"

Some students or even parents/faculty might see it offensive or not appropriate.

Source(s): I'm class president and I would tell you that you cannot play it

If you are worried about what the judges may think or if they will allow this, then run it by them or ask them what the general guidelines are. You probably can perform this but they may disqualify you if they allow you to sing it. They may allow it. Ask them.
