Why was my question deleted?

The other day I asked a question about assigning a profile for my AVG firewall. I wanted to know on my desktop which is the one hooked to the router etc, and it pops up standalone computer, computer on the go etc. and then asks if we want to assign a profile or without a profile. Then on my laptop it comes up the same but also has small home or office network. And they both have a line that I can type in a name for the new location or whatever. Anyway, why would that be deleted? The only answer I got was from some character sending me to a website that had nothing to do with the question at all. So I wrote that he wasn't very helpful. So I'm guessing he deleted it? Anyway, does anyone know the answer to this question about the AVg 8 firewall assign without or without profile etc?

Update:

Does my assigned profile on my laptop have anything to do with the desktop? They are on the same licence number. Do I have to make them compatible? Or are they seperate entities? The choices on the desktop are to type in an area name, to put "standalone computer" "allow all" and "disallow all". Then "assign profile" and "without profile". Then on the laptop I have the one to type in an area name, "computer in domain" "small office or home network", "stand alone computer". then "assign profile" and "without profile". So what is right to do?

Update 2:

Matt you are right. The first answerer was no help at all.

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune with this question. You probably know this of course, but this place is a haven for people spamming their websites. Unfortunately you will receive alot of irrelevant answers and links to websites that could be potentially harmful.

As for your question about the profiles for AVG firewall. Profiles are more like network usage profiles. A home user would have different needs than say an office user. This option allows for customization of the firewall dependent on your specific needs.
