Help applying for a credit card?

I am applying for a credit card it it is asking me to enter a "total requested limit"

What does this mean and how much should I put?

    Just tear up the application. No one needs a credit card.

    This means the amount of $$ that you are requesting as your "credit limit", or the maximum amount you would like to charge on the card.

    Take your annual salary and divide by 10%. Generally that is a good place to start given the limited information you provided.
