What is of these kind of advertisements ?

Some days before i saw an advertisement to create an awareness among the people about the how re-used syringe can harm , now the point is that the story in the add was narrated in english !!!!! now if this is for awareness amongst the weaker & illiterate section of society what is the use if it is shown in english !!!

Update:

Add was how a child is injected with a reused syringe & as a short time he dies ! i m not talking about the developed countries at all !

I m an Indian & i m talking about my country,When an awareness advertisement is to be shown in India then they should have used our languege as every kind of person understands it !

I hope now question is clear !

The manufacturers of the patented sealed syringe might have produced this advertisement... They are more concerned for their marketing rather than creating awareness among the masses... as their aim is to promote sales of their product...

Its market is in urban world where people showoff that they know and understand English only... they buy things… uses them and throws… their counterparts in villages are not as fortunate as they are… as they cannot afford the luxuries of ‘use and throw’ items…

I have doubts whether such 'use and throw' syringes are affordable for the poor masses in the rural world where people hardly get two square meals a day... I think in small towns and villages ‘reusable glass syringes’ might be used… these syringes, and needles are sterilized by boiling in water after each use and before injecting the same to another patient…

There is a blind race in the market to earn more and more… that is the reason why the world has ended up in the ongoing economic crisis…

The manufacturers of the patented sealed syringe should supply this product to the poor for free… rather than wasting millions on worthless Ads...

I will have to assume that the add was placed by an American, or British company. The international language of business is English, but unfortunately we don't always take into consideration people that have never been exposed to English. I know a lot of countries teach English as a second language, in their school systems, which means most people, world wide have some knowledge of the language.

You mention the weaker and illiterate portion of society. This to me, is inconceivable, that there are people in the world without some kind of education. What language would you recommend these adds be advertised in?
