Evolution is a fact, whether you like it or not. Read up on the science behind it. Check out scientific journals to see just how much evidence there is, and after you've done that for a few years, come back and tell us honestly whether you still think evolution is a fraud or not.

Your source makes the usual guilt by association link between Darwin and eugenicists, but Darwin himself was in fact opposed to eugenics.

    What?

Because the physicist grandson of a famous biologist wrote a book about a subject he knew relatively little about?

    Err, no.

Evolution is accepted as fact because of:

    1) the overwhelming amount of evidence that supports it.

    2) See 1.

The theory of Evolution is based on facts, not wishes like Religion.

Beware bias cherry-picking articles that have nothing to do with real Science.

If you don't like what Science has to say, go live somewhere else.

Oh wait, the Creation/Evolution debate is only alive and well here in the US. I guess you'll have to find a deserted island.

The reason it has been "foisted on society as fact" is because it's an observable fact. Literally observable.

    Peace.

I've noticed the tendency of lazy intelligence to look for the most simplistic answers to complex information in the form of supernatural causes and conspiracy.

Good luck with your higher education.

No, that was Darwin's rambling and hypothesizing about the future of the human race. We can all do that, and get it just as gloriously wrong or partly right or whatever.

Evolution is studied because it is fact, just like gravity is studied because it is fact.

    That makes no sense.

    * Evolution is very much a fact.

    * The theory of evolution is a theory - just like atomic theory and gravity theory. The word "theory" has a very specific meaning in a scientific context: THE THEORY EXPLAINS THE FACTS. See http://www.notjustatheory.com/

    * Over 99.8% of scientists in relevant fields accept evolution.

    * There are no alternative scientific theories.

    * There is a huge amount of evidence in support of evolution...

    * And zero evidence against it.

    * The "debate" is actually educated people trying to educate others.

    * The more intelligent a person is, the more likely they are to understand and accept evolution.

    * The "debate" only happens in backward places like Turkey and parts of the united states.

    * There are two types of creationists: professionals who make money from books, lectures and such, and knowingly make false claims - and followers who accept those claims without understanding them.

I am not reading all of that. It's way too long and I just had a literature final so my brain is fried.

Other than that I will say that evolution is fact, regardless of whether or not you believe. The entire scientific community has nothing to gain by promoting any kind of lies so why would you think that they do.

Evolution has been frosted off on men as an attempt to reserve the POWER to men and not GOD tmm

can you be part of a conspiracy without knowing there is a conspiracy? yes.tnn

I don't need to read it. The reason evolution has been presented as fact is because the evidence backs it up, and it has been shown to be fact.
