Why are people complaining about Obama electing some Clinton officials?
I am confused as to why people believe it will be the Clinton administration all over again when it is far from being that. First Obama is simply not Clinton. Secondly, it is quite difficult I am sure to find people who would be qualified for some of the toughest positions in this country that did not work for the Bush or Clinton administration. They have been readily in office for the past 20 years or so. I am not saying its impossible but I do say that it is smart to find and tap the talent that you hope and expect great things from. Is this wrong? Thoughts?
Change does happen from the ground up meaning that however is in office will feel the strain. But it also will come from Obama and that will make a big difference as well. One cannot hope to make a situation better with just new people, change and the idea of it happeneing goes way beyond that.

You are correct. Most newly-elected presidents need advisers from previous administrations from within their own parties. It is wise for Obama to reach out to the previous Democratic administration in order to create a smooth transition and to help develop a Cabinet that is comprised of people with the expertise and who understand the bureaucracy in Washington.

Because Obama promised to be a man of vision, of bold new ideas, of fresh new faces. At the very least, you would have expected the first black president to surround himself with 50% minorities (including women).
Instead, every one of his picks are old Clinton retreads. I mean, even GW Bush didn't pull back the same guys from his father's administration (except Cheney as his VP, so that he could "counsel" GW in the same way that Biden said Obama asked him to provide "counsel"... in other words "tell me what I should do now". (Just as aside, Bush has a documented IQ of 138. Obama's is 128. Cracks me up. Democrats elected their OWN Bush!)
These aren't BOLD ideas. These are desperate pleas for help by a man who can't believe he actually won and is now scared sh**less. So he's pulling back all the people who already ran a nation before, as a way to make up for his own total lack of experience or readiness.
His demands that Bush finish some things BEFORE he takes office proved it for all to see. A confident man would tell Bush "Don't do ANYTHING else... leave it... I will take care of things, I will fix your d*mn mess." A scared man begs his predecessor to finish things up so that he has an easier job waiting for him. "You do the hard work... I'm really not up for it... I trust that you can do a better job on the way out than I could ever do on the way in."
Patheric.
There are SO many new and fresh DEMOCRAT faces that could really deliver change to the same old Washington politics. Instead, he gives us more of the same. Nothing's gonna change. You just elected 4 more years of Bush.
So much for a great messiah. He's a phony.

Because Obama ran against the Clintons, promising to "change Washington".
Yes, to "change Washington" not just to "change the administration".
He even promised "a new way of politics" or something like that.
The Clinton administration is even older than that of Bush.

Yes this is wrong. If Obama preached over and over again that he wants change, then why is he picking people like the Clinton's? If he was honest about change, he would be picking Washington outsiders for starters, not the Clinton's. I see now, that Obama is not about change except change from one party to another. That is NOT why he was elected. People wanted REAL change.

Obama promised CHANGE, and thusfar he has simply created
Clinton II. Obama is proving to be as dishonest as the Clintons.
Clinton was the most corrupt and rotten president of the 20th century.
It does not bode well.

Because the Clintons were crooks. Most of their staff were crooks. And now, the staff of our new President-Elect will be composed of the same old crooks that were there before.
Hey...maybe they will bring back some of the stuff they stole when the left the last time!

I think in general it was expected that Obama might have some brilliant people from behind the scenes that he was going to unveil to the world. Unfortunately, in politics unless you go outside of D.C. you're just going to find the same idiots running the mills.

Because Clinton was the first black President. And Obama is the first black Clinton.

Oh gee I don't know..........maybe because Barrack Obama was all about CHANGE and how we need CHANGE and how only CHANGE will bring about the CHANGE that this country so desperate needs. Okay fine......So why dust off old Clinton cronies and give them positions in your new administration?

maximum of his cupboard are ex-lobbyists. and there is no way Bush is "sabotaging" the financial gadget. What has occurred for the reason that 2007 is basically the duty of the Democrats. what's being "tried" isn't working and we've the desirable suited to point that out.
