Inexpensive TCU for a Honda Accord?

My Transmission Control unit on my 91 Accord is bad and the least expensive one I have found is $275...Does anyone know where I can get one for less than that?

Nope, that is about right. I used to replace those every other day.

Good luck, its a small expense for a car that'll last you a long time.

These are prone to failure due to the age and are also quite expensive anyway. Find out what codes the TCU brings up before splashing out as it may be something simple like a short somewhere.

  • Its a Japanese car. Parts for these cars are always expensive even on the older cars.
