Well I listen to rap and hip hop music a lot because I like the beat.
I don't mistreat women; I don't do drugs; I don't have sex with anyone and everyone; I don't even drink.
So, no. I think if the kid in question was taught right from wrong in the beginning then what they listen to has little effect on their lives.
Even after all the music I listen to that condones these bad actions, I have yet to do them.
So ultimately I don't think the music can change a child much if a solid background is already in place.

Unfortunately today's "noise" is NOT music..!!! These guys learn 3 chords, and automatically they are full fledged musicians..
If this is music, how come so many of these guys are going deaf..? The noise they create blows out their ear drums, so this music...?
And nine million "groups" prevail and the kids "eat up" all this up..
Rap "cra*" words, if you want to call therm that, basically promotes violence, and if they're so good, how come a couple have them been assassinated ..
But I guess to a good portion, the music of Andre Rieu does not mean a blessed thing...
The kids listen to this nonsense and act upon a lot of the specifics, and why do they riot so many times after concerts when law and order is applied...

I think it plays a huge role on the type of person they are, so it does have a big impact on there life.
But Sometimes on others not always, depending on the specific type of person. But it's rare, in my opinion.

Industrial & Metal saved my teenage-self from never becoming an adult.
