Opinion on Bose 3-2-1 Home Theater System?
If anyone owns the Bose 3-2-1 Home Theater System and can give me some opinions and price for the unit, I would appreciate it.
I know Bose is good and I want something not so bulky where I don't need to run wires everywhere.
Does it have a CD player or is it optional?
If I purchase a Blue Ray DVD player, will it play CD's?
Any opinions on brands of Blue Rays would be appreciated also.
I want something with quality sound but I don't turn it up all the way or have amps to consider. I mainly want it for the viewing of DVDs and music I love and enjoy. I hate wires and all the connections in the back.
I think I will take the advice to look around but I've chosen my best answer for this question and thank you.

Bose 3-2-1 GS Series II (graphite) DVD home-entertainment system is an updated version of the company's older 3-2-1 system. This system is compact system and it has integrated progressive-scan DVD player, AM/FM tuner, two satellite speakers, and subwoofer; delivers simulated surround-sound effects without rear speakers; easy to set up and use. The cost of this system is around $649-$799. The Panasonic BDP-BD35 is one of the best Blu-ray players, it is one of the most sensibly priced and best-performing stand-alone Blu-ray players on the market and the Sony BDP-S300 Blu-ray DVD Player is also good.

If you want quality, audio pure sound, than Bose is not the answer, if you want something small that doesnt require a lot of wires, and can't integrate with other devices, and sounds tinny and marginally ok then Bose is fine, if you want quality you have to make some sacrifices, ie running wires, you can hire a professional, to hide those wires, with the extra money the bose 3-2-1 would cost you....

Back when Dr. Bose was working in his company, 1970s and 1980s, they had some decent products. These days they are an excellent marketing company preying on the ignorance of consumers who don't know the difference.
If the choice is Bose or nothing, I'd take Bose. If you haven't bought it yet, look around a bit. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
