If she wants something that made you think of her, find a nice picture of the two of you together and find a nice frame for it and frame it for her. I would also include a nice card with a special note from you in it.

If you're a brand new couple don't go extra pricey keep it simple and if you're still dating next year (or on her Birthday) go fancy then.

Give her a build-a-bear, made especially of how reminds you of her. You can pick it's shell, how much they stuff it, the clothes, even name it after her. Go to the mall and get her a general merchandise certificate...call the mall's general office to find out where to pick it up.

Or if you're tight on cash, just make her favourite breakfast Christmas morning and spend the day indoors watching her favourite movies, or walking around looking at the lights and caroling. The memory is something she can always keep with her.

I wouldn't get her jewelry...you have only been dating for a month. That is something for a couple that has been together a little longer. I would give her a certificate to get a massage or to get a really nice pedicure or manicure. You could also ask her mother if there is anything she really wants for christmas that she might not be telling you.

How about a spa trip for the two of you? It depends on how much you want to spend - perhaps jewellery or her favourite perfume? How about a weekend away for the two of you, a romantic break? Concert tickets to see her favourite band or perhaps their DVD or latest CD? An iPod? Good luck!

Something like a nice dress / necklace would be nice. Maybe a pair of nice shoes she's been eying for a long time. Girls love fashionable stuff, well at least my girl will be happy with clothing related stuff.
