WTF!! Riddick Bowe is coming back! What is wrong with the state of boxing?

Bowe looked so bad the last couple fights he had that I doubt he will be anything other than another former champion the current reigning champ can add to their records. The latest trend in boxing is for European champs to pretend beating old men some how lends creditability to their records. Joe Calzaghe may have started a new tend in boxing that the heavyweights simply chose to emulate. Riddick Bowe is in worse shape mentally and physically than Evander Holyfield and both should have hung up the gloves long ago. The politics of boxing has always been one step above a sewer, the difference today is it's a European sewer.

Ridiculous. He was already shot when he fought Billy Zumbrun - who was completely jobbed in that fight, and who nearly stopped Bowe at one point.

But the fight hasn't yet been approved. (Actually, I'm not sure that Holyfield has been cleared yet. Nor should he be.)

(Difference between Holyfield and Bowe? Holyfield doesn't know how many rooms he has in his house, Bowe doesn't know how many kitchens he has.)

So it goes. Don't forget Roberto Duran getting tossed around like a rag doll against William Joppy.

It's a combination of not being smart with money and being an ego maniac.

I doubt Bowe could pass a physical, assuming this is going to be the kind of fight in which a good commission is running the show.

I also read that Lewis is going return to fight the elder Klits. Dunno if it's a serious thing.

bowe's shot and if he loses it'll only add on to the misery...he needs to stop before he gets life-threatening injuries
