How do I put games or applications on my Zune?

I've got a 30 gb Zune and I've had it for over a year and a half. But I still don't know how to put anything on there other than songs and pictures. I'm really not too concerned with movies or videos right now because my computer doesn't have a DVD burner. But how do you put games or applications on there? I need pretty detailed steps because I'm not great with computers. Thanks in advance.

    Upgrade the firmware , the games are included in it.
