Have The Cowboys Finally Earned The Name America's Team?

I mean if you look at America and The Cowboys it seems to fit. Both are in the toilet after such a great history. Both let criminals get away with stuff with just a slap on the wrist. Both have not had a great leader in over a decade. And yet both still have fans that need to wake up and fix what they use to cherish. Both are in so much trouble and they keep trying to find a quick solution that will only hurt in the long run(Lame duck president....Overrated Receiver.) I think the name finally fits. How About You?

    Using this political analogy "America's team" would be the 49'ers. A Superpower in the 80's run into the ground in the time since then...clearly a shell of it's former self.

    Your Analogy sells America short, and has many flaws.

    Jerry Jones was one of the architects of Cowboy Glory, and he remains the leader today.

    Adam Jones is a choir boy compared to some of the people on previous Dallas championship teams, and hasn't "gotten away with" anything.

    The fans can't "fix" anything about a football team.

    Im a cowboys fan and I believe they were the first NFL team...in something that I dont remember.

    So from that point on people called them ''AMERICANS TEAM''.

    Muahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa!

    How do you like that???

    It really irritates me that soo many people pay more attention to Dallas then they're own damn football team.
