They won two in the row and knocked the Bucs out. They had several 4th Quarter melt downs this season yes, but they have gutted some games out. Russel has shown some growth and may lead this team. Get him a receiver to match his arm strength and something can really flourish So Raider fans what do you think?

I sat down and tuned in to watch my Raiders play the Texans. I was hoping that i would see a great game where they come out victorious. So far the Raiders are playing great defense and some damn good offense. The game has a long way to go for a win. I just want to know why they can't seem to give this effort every game. They have the talent to be a real contender on both sides of the ball and Higgins has some skill in special teams. I like to blame Davis for their shortcomings but some blame must go on the team. But with the effort they are putting in on a nothing game. He really must be killing what they could be. What do you think my fellow Raider fans?

They pretty much have the game won and they still are throwing the ball when it is not needed. Running up the score against a team that has not even shown up. Looks to me that the Pats are back to their old ways.

A while back it was a big deal that Darker Pigmented (can't say black) Americans said it was a racist league cause they could be a star player. But you could almost never be a head coach or owner. The NFL changed that and we see more head coaches that have a different heritage than us "honkies". And made sure that no sign of racism can be seen. Yet women can only put a skirt on and shake her cans for the audience.

People can love any team they want and should cheer for them no matter how their team is playing. But aren't you sick of the fans that come on here and make stupid statements. It just makes people hate the team and the fans.

You have fans that come on here and make stupid claims that they are the best team or coming back. Everyone not a fan of the team that is not a ignorant hater knows the truth about them. Just be honest.

I root for the raiders and they are bad. I see promise with them down the road and I cheer every game. But THEY ARE BAD. I do not want Raider fans coming on here and saying they are the best or are better than they are.

The award is for the coach he brought his players to perform amazingly. Dick LeBeau (hope that's right) for the Steelers has always had that defense playing with grit and heart. This year he has coached that defense into something truly amazing.

Why is he not Coach of the year? It is never called Head Coach of The year.

I think this league is just messing up these awards with being small minded.

I know in the past there has been co-MVP's but why can an entire squad not get it. The Steeler Defense has won that team almost all there games. Look at yesterday what they did to the Pats. Even when the offense is almost a no show that defense wins games

Also the Giants Offensive line. No matter if they run or pass this team has made them what they are. Slow drives make it easier on the defense to stay healthy and hungry. This team would not be here without these front monsters.

These people are the MVP's in my opinion.

And in a sport that is the ultimate TEAM GAME

If my raiders ever signed this garbage I am afraid i would turn from this team until he was gone and the people that signed him are gone. It scares me cause Al Davis is insane and might sign him as a backup. What would you do?

Detroit is the easy answer cause of their record. But in the last month the Rams are making a strong push for it. After two solid wins they have beyond dropped off and are looking so bad it hurts. What do you think?

When he has a bad game he whines and moans that they are not using him enough and that the West Coast Offense does not work in Dallas. Yet when he has a big game he is all smiles and says how great the offense can be. Can someone shut this guy up already? It only points to the fact that he is a talented player with no heart and can never be considered one of the best. To be the best receiver you have to make your team better even when everyone else is struggling. He can never lift this team on his back when they are down. If they rely on him he crumbles and starts to blame everyone else. Look at Jerry Rice, Tim Brown, Chris Carter, and many other greats who elevated their team when they needed them. I would rather have Hines Ward who does not even have as much talent on my team. He lives and dies for the Steelers every time they play.

YEAH BABY GO RAIDERS

I have always been a raider fan and will always be one even in these tough times.. My Brother is a flip/flop fan of the Cowboys and that just pisses me off. But I was wondering is there a real reason to stop rooting for your team? The only reason I think is if your team is taken apart and are no longer there. Anyone know a different reason?

Everyone has a favorite team that they will root for til the day they die! But is there another that you will cheer on for the course of the season except when they play your team. My household is very different we have me the Raider fan...My dad the saint fan...My mom the Dolphin fan...and one brother is Giant while the other is Cowboys... But we all agree on one team that we root for every year together...The Steelers. We watch all there games together since it is the one we agree on and I have become a fan of them..

I know it is strange since I am a raider fan to root for the Steelers since their great rivalry in the 70's but that is the biggest reason. In the greatest decade of football these were the two top teams always going head to head. And I will always cheer for them. I am Black and Silver in the blood. But I wants the Steelers to win too.

Who is your number two team and why?

I mean if you look at America and The Cowboys it seems to fit. Both are in the toilet after such a great history. Both let criminals get away with stuff with just a slap on the wrist. Both have not had a great leader in over a decade. And yet both still have fans that need to wake up and fix what they use to cherish. Both are in so much trouble and they keep trying to find a quick solution that will only hurt in the long run(Lame duck president....Overrated Receiver.) I think the name finally fits. How About You?

Is there such a thing for NFL players to learn how to trash talk. Because I think that Brandon Marshall really needs to attend it right away. His comments on Joey Porter are lame, stupid, and well........kinda "SOFT"

I want the fans of the teams that are down in the dumps. Tell me your team, show the love for them, and say what you think they need to get back in the spot light....also sound off against the people that do nothing but attack them

I love the RAIDERS. And I always have. Though they are down in the dumps now I still support them one hundred percent.

I think that my team needs to sign a veteran quarterback and slowly start building young solid lines. That way they can start competing and build back to greatness. Stop the hotshot rookie quick fixes they do not work.

And I want to say to everyone that bashes the raiders. They are in the worst part of their history and they will come out of it. Three super bowls, Great hall of famers, and a legacy that has lasted longer than most. Stop hating
