    Those are beautiful hamsters!

The darker one is a Sable Angora Syrian.

The lighter one is a Dark-eyed Champagne Satin Angora Syrian.

Both are fairly rare varieties, not commonly seen in the USA or Canada by enthusiasts. You have some quality hamsters there! They look to be in good shape to me.

    Good luck with your experiment!

They're just called Syrians. 'Panda bear' etc. hamsters are just cute names that (American) pet shops give to them based on their colours and how they look- they all behave the same and all are the same breed. So their exact name is Syrian Hamsters.

And I hope you're not keeping them together- they're clearly young now as you can tell by the size, but as soon as they hit puberty, they'll fight to the death, even if they're male/male, male/female, or female/female or have lived together since they were born- it's just how Syrians are.

I'm sorry, but the hell? You can SEE the colour yourself! One is cream, one is brown/black. I imagine that pet shops would name the brown/black one as a 'black bear hamster'. But they're Syrians. That's the breed. End of.
