u mean for a gf that u are currently with but its a new relationship?...then no, its not too cheap...i never let my bf give me a present worth more than a hundred bucks total in what he did for me that day until it was about a year after lol...i mean technically speaking ur brain releases a hormone that mimics love and makes u think you are in love when u may not be for one whole year...and i just took that into an account along with the fact that, do i really want something to be that in-disposable and that expensive if we do break it off in that first year...lol...now at a little more than 4 and a half years going onto 5 in about 4 months, we put the limit at 200...the first couple years though, it was a hundred...and the first presents ever were only about 50 bucks....this year i want to spoil him a bit more though with a nice stocking full of goodies to add.

No definately not. 14K gold is perfectly fine. Just make sure its not too thin or light. Nothing says cheap like brittle stamped gold pendants. You might want to consider a sterling silver ring with her birth stone in it. Its cheap and very thoughtful.

    strange question

well what do you you think? the amount of cash you spend is not a level of how much you like her.just make it from the heart and something that you know that she will love, not love you for!!!:)
