BUT TRY ASKING HIM WHERE HE DDISAPPEARS TO. BUT THE CELL PHONE JUST ASK HIM IF HE WOULD LIKE YOU CHECKING HES CELL PHONE SEE WHAT HE SAYS.

He is getting a big head after the marriage questions and all. You need to give him some space, don't call him first, email, text, or anything. Let him contact you, and maybe don't answer the first time. It will make him want you more! Men, and really people in general, want what they can't have, but especially men because it is in their genes to like the chase. Possibly even turn him down next time he asks you out and say you're "having a weekend with the girls. Maybe next weekend?" It will make him excited to hang out with you, instead of taking you for granted.

Oh and, I don't know if it's a big deal that he went through your messages. ( Though you were definitely right to confront him about it, he shouldn't be doing that! ) Because I read something the other day that said 67% of guys have gone through the text messages on their girlfriend's phone. I wouldn't worry about that so much, unless he starts acting possessive.

I find it odd that he suggested meeting up and whenever you text him regarding the issue of the drinks he ignores you. One issue could be that he didn't receive the message but it's highly unlikely if you've sent several (I'm assuming you have) messages. I would suggest calling him rather than sending him messages that he won't reply to. Star off the conversation as if you're just looking for a friendly chat, mention you have nothing to do and fancied some company. Whilst on the phone slip in the mention of meeting for drinks Friday like he suggested. It will be harder for him to just ignore you while you are both in a conversation.

Real creepy is what I say. Time for you to move on. Anyone who disappears for days at a time while in a relationship - even just dating - rings a warning bell for me - MORE so when he took your cell phone & ran through your messages. WTF is up with that? Get rid of him.
