I think they should change the state name of Alabama?

If any place is changing there name to Obama's, they are jumping the gun way too early. Who is to know at this point if he will be a bad or a good president.

The qualifications to get a school names after you in New York are pretty low. There's lots of schools in New York. You don't have to be a great president, or even a president at all. A notable historical or local figure is sufficient. Obama is already that in black history, even if he isn't a good president, simply by being elected. If he's a bad president, they'll change the name. If he's a great president, expect to see lots of things named after him. In the mean time, I see nothing wrong with having things like a school in New York named for him.

Hey, the block that the Guggenheim is on is named after notable street runner Fred Lebo. Ever heard of him? We've got enough things to name to be pretty liberal about the standards.
