Do you have to be a Conference Champ to play for the BCS nat. title?
Is that a rule? If not do u think a non conference champ would get picked ?

It's not a rule. You don't have to be the conference champ but a team's chances are much better, according to the BCS, if they are.
For example, Univ. of Georgia was ranked really high last year, but they didn't play in the SEC championship and therefore didn't make it to the national championship.

Several years ago OU did not win the conference game, but played for the title. I love OU, but that is not right.

no you dont, but it would definatly help because how could a second best team in a conference go but the best team doesnt.........
