Americans, do you secretly wish your Thanksgiving were in the Fall, not so close to Christmas?

(For you folks with four season). Just wondering. In Canada, we had ours when the Fall colours were beautiful and the pumpkins were in the fields, in the middle of October.

Yes, American Thanksgiving is an American holiday and Canadian Thanksgiving is a Canadian holiday. Ain't the world grand the way it works like that?

    I like it when it is. It represents the start of the Christmas season to me!

    not at all! thanksgiving is like a prelude to christmas. Isn't thanksgiving an American holiday though? so we should have the authority over when the holiday should be celebrated right. haha.

    yes i do, we live on the border of canada in wny. there is snow everywhere, it does not seem like a typical thanksgiving would
