Does Invisalign take longer to work than traditional braces?
I'm really towards getting braces rather than veneers. Now the question is which ones. I'm 29 so I want whatever is least noticeable which seems to be Invisalgn. I also want what will correct my teeth the quickest which seems to be the traditional braces. Which should I get?

There are 3 types of braces.
Don't worry, I have seen a 67 year old with braces. :)
(1. You can have work done in your mouth, to have braces on the back of your teeth instead of front. This may be very costly, and expensive.
(2. Invisible braces, but not "invisible". They are good, but come to around $7,000. It's a lot of money, and there not invisible. They still have wires.
(3. "Normal" braces. Where you can pick colors on your brackets.
These braces are most common, their average price and they do good work on your teeth.
Since you're not in your teens, you would have probably and most likely have all of your teeth. I'm guessing you do!
Therefore you won't have them on for a full 24 months or 18 months, but usually for 6-7 months.
(1. When you first get braces, eat soft foods for about 2-3 weeks.
(2. Don't worry if you think your teeth are "falling" out, their moving.
(3. They should straighten up the next time you get your wires changed.
(4. When you get them tightened, remember to bring a cold drink of water, it may be un-comfortable for you straight after the visit.
Good luck!

If the main focus is to provide a cosmetic change for your front teeth, then braces is the way to go. Have you heard of 6 month smiles? Most cases or crowded, twisted, overlapped or gappy teeth can be solved in 6 months using clear cosmetic braces.
This is different to invisalign which generally takes longer and is more costly.

Invisialign is good and latest. It is costlier than than the traditional braces and may take longer to straighten the teeth. For more information on this you can read the following very informative article from a dental website
