Auto body question? Using Fiberglass jelly.?

I bought a repair jelly fiberglass kit.

it came with a cloth and a plastic film.

I what is the different conditions under which to use one or the other.

especially the plastic film, I cant figure out what its for.

    check the directions in the kit, my suggestion is the plastic is a release film. you would lay the plastic out then lay the fiberglass on top. your resign and hardener needs to be painted onto your fiberglass to ensure it is thoroughly soaked. you would place both layers on the car and then remove the plastic.

    film is to just cover the hole itself...sorta a foundation in a sence..then use the jelly with the hardener..then fiberglass matting...then jelly agaion...ok
