depends on what you're really asking. if you're hosting, i would go totally traditional and roast turkey with all the trimmings. turkey goes a long way so it's easy to do for a large group of people and is a general crowd pleaser. very few people will complain about having turkey for christmas dinner. if you have more questions, email me. good luck!!

If you are having a potluck, that's great. You can be responsible for some of the main stuff and let everyone else bring the rest. If you are hosting a party this size, I'd consult with a caterer. Depending on the time of your party, you can have light fare or dinner. Here are some ideas:

Check out Costco for their deli and seafood trays, larger quantities of things like cheese, crackers, sliced veges etc. and pre-made trays.

Plan a theme for your food and keep it simple. A couple of warming soups, along with artisan breads, cheeses, veges and fruit will be a welcomed change for holiday indulgences.

Make a great hot and/or cold punch

    Hot Artichoke dip is great

Spinach Dip in bread bowls is great

you are hosting? or you are taking a dish to a party?

take a huge deli tray of cold cuts, veggies and fruits with dips to match.
