How can I get my mom to be more social with my Sexuality?

it takes time. me and my girlfriend came out to her parents and they were very upset about it because its against their religion. but now her mom is very cool with it. its been about 11 months since she's known, but she was cool about it after a few months. and she gets better with it as time goes on. she talks about it and makes jokes and stuff that she wouldnt make if she wasnt comfortable around us knowing we were together.

Just because she accepts you doesn't mean she encourages it. My parents accept me,l but don't always approve of all the decisions I make.

tell her how much it would mean to you.

but if she doesnt want to, just be glad she accepts you for who you are.

most parents dont even do that.
