It is good to give kids Vitamin C tablets especially after they have been ill or coming into Winter months.

Yes, it is OK to give an 11 year old one, but just make sure it is suitable for her, i.e. not for 12+, and if it isn't then you can easily buy a packet of Vitamin C tablets for under 12s from your local Pharmacy.

Research has shown it does nothing to stop or even help a cold in any way. A healthy diet is all you need to help you fight infections. In fact most kids vitamin tablets are no more than glorified sweets.

Yes only one a day. Make sure she drinks extra water. Vitamin c makes you pee more. No more than one as some people stomachs are sensitive to the vitamin and can have upset stomachs.

Growing up my mom gave us a vitamin c tablet every morning and I do the same with my kids.

    Sure, it's fine.

Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin, which means the body gets rid of what it doesn't need...you can't overdose her.

    All the best.

Yes it's ok, but check the labels, as the recommended daily amount is 60mg.

It is commonly misthought that extra intake of vit C helps with cold and flu - it doesn't I'm afraid.

Yes, your pharmacist will be able to advise you. There are special supplements for children. Garlic and echinacea are also good for this.

Yes, it can't hurt..just don't overdue, giving her more than the recommended daily allowance.
