Hillary isn't the most tactful, diplomatic personality. She was more qualified to run as the Democratic candidate for President in my assessment, but Secretary of State isn't a good fit for her IMO. She had tremendous support during the primaries, and I really don't think she has taken her eyes of the prize for herself, which could easily remove her focus from her job to her campaign for the 2012 elections.
I'm not thrilled with any return to the Clinton days. For one thing, my income taxes were almost double under Clinton than under George W., just the base tax was higher and we didn't have the tax breaks or stimulus that W put in place. EVERYONE paid higher taxes under Clinton, here is the breakdown: http://mjperry.blogspot.com/2008/03/comparing-inco...
The worst hit under Clinton were the low-middle class. If you were married with a household income of just $44,000 (thats just a piddly $22,000 salary each), you were in the 28% tax bracket under Clinton! Under Bush, you have been in the 15% tax bracket at that income, and did not hit the 28% tax bracket until $131,450 household income.
Also, the Bank Affirmative Action that Clinton approved, building on Carter's CRA, is the main reason for the banking crisis.

Democrats will run Obama in 2012 and since the incumbent President, till he pulls a Jimmy Carter, he will win. Hillary isn't Secretary of State below Obama. the 2nd subject is extra plausable.

Honestly, I am tired of the news channels picking apart every decision that Obama is making. There is real news out there to report but all the news agencies are reporting what Hillary and Obama are doing.
I for one do not care. I voted for Obama so that he can do the work of the president. Until he starts on Jan 20th 2009, I don't really care what he does. I trust that he is smart enough to know what he is doing.
I wish that the news would report on real news, like wrongs being committed around the world, or wrong committed in our back yard.

I think it's interesting that Obama criticized Hillary's stance on foreign policy while campaigning and now he wants her to be Secretary of State. Just another contradiction in a long list of Obama contradictions.

I have no problem with Sen. Clinton as Sec of State. I expected it to be Gov Richardson though.
