NO.And I don't think we will get the whole story either.Business is on a I need help kick.Everyone I know is shopping just like always just not for the high end items.Electronics will do well I think but they are already complaining.I won't be buying any.Yes,some business will do well those who give reasonable prices and service.Dollar stores and certain Mall stores will also do well.I don't think they will do badly at all.Yes even I have scaled back but the things I scaled back on were not all that necessary just nice touches. But in these times that should be expected and figured in.Over all I think Christmas will do fine.

i did no longer circulate identifying to purchase on Black Friday, yet I observed the masses filling the parking plenty, automobiles spilling onto the streets and site visitors jams for the mall. i've got completed it interior the previous and it rather is no longer incredibly truthfully worth the discomfort and anguish to shop a pair of greenbacks once you're fortunate to get the object till now it rather is been ravaged by ability of 10,000 human beings going for the comparable element. i'm hoping Christmas has a cheering result on you, and that 2010 brings you a great 3 hundred and sixty 5 days.

I was in the big discounters over the weekend and they were marking down prices already. They obviously think it is not going to be profitable based on the retail sales numbers last quarter. I also noticed that most of the carts were filled with essential items, store brands and no luxury items. I think the discounters will do okay, high end stores and probably electronics, won't.

I think it will be but it will depend where you are on the severity. I think it's going to be bad where I live. I've already seen signs. Although unfortunately I don't think we will be cutting back. My step daughter who is 14 wants only expensive gifts. $300 ITouch. Lots of expensive clothes. Never mind that she has everything. She's a spendaholic. She makes Christmas not fun at all with her spoiled, bored princess thing she does. She is so self centered. She must think money just grows on trees. She doesn't think at all.

edit: I'm trying to cut back but I only have so much power. We should cut back so we can pay our bills down and take a real vacation without the kids. The kids live with us part-time. They have had lots of vacations.

I went shopping this past weekend and the stores were as busy as they have been in past years. I saw no sign of the alleged recession.
