alimony is for the wife for one of every three years she was married to him. In OHio USA anyway.
Palimony is money from a woman to aman for marriege years.
Child support is a payment till the child is 18 years old to the mother or guardian for financial aid to the child based on the income of the father and the lifestyle of the mother. E.G. Britney Spears needed $400,000 a month for clothes.

Child support.
Whether he does or does not recognize his child, whether does or does not want to marry the child's mother, the child's father still has to send money to the child's mother every month, and that money is called child support.
The only time a father can get out of paying child support if if he is totally broke, like a homeless person, or a student living on student loans. However, if he has a paying job, he has to pay child support.
Alimony is the money that a divorced man might have to send to his ex-wife, (or a divorced woman might have to send to her ex-husband). It has nothing to do with any children they might have.
