I am looking for bmw parts?
I am a mechanic and I am gonna do a friends brakes(rotors, pads) and he also needs the tie rod ends done. He has a 2001 bmw 740li.
Does anyone know where I can get aftermarket parts for it? I am used to working on audi's so I am not exactly sure where to get bmw stuff. He needs the pads with the sensors in them.

Like the guy above me, Bavauto.com is the place to go for aftermarket parts. Or if your friend has big money to spend, Dinancars.com offers all of Dinan's aftermarket parts, and unlike other aftermarket parts, Dinan parts can actually help the resale.
As for replacement parts, Realoem.com has everything you'll need, and more. It is a very helpful site, and even has diagrams.
