feeding my frog a glofish?
Ok, I just got a pet frog (albino clawed frog) and I was just wondering. If I were to feed it a Glofish would it glow too? Er... or would it kill it. Just wondering... I thought it would be kinda cool to have a red glowing frog.
It there are any risks of course I won't do it though. I'm not that cruel.
Anywayz, and I just got him yesterday so any helpful advise for raising my first aquatic frog would be nice. I already have locked down the lid with scotch tape but any other advice would be good.
If you're wondeing, he's a male, about an inch long currently and only has one eye. His name is Link because it's a mixture of the names Wink and Lucky. (my dad wanted be to call him winky... >.>)
Thanks a bunch.

It could kill the frog, the dye they inject into glofish to make them glow is poisonous to anything eating them
Before anyone starts they are not genetically modified, they are lifted out of the water and a needle is inserted under the skin to inject them with dye. That is why europe has banned them and any shops who try to sell them face instant closure and heavy fines
Edit :- why have you taped the lid down? Xenopus laevis or clawed frog is aquatic it doesn't leave the water

Don't feed the frog live animals, stick to pet store food!

Instead of goldfish get feeder minnows. Minnows are easier to catch, smaller, and wont grow too big for the frog to eat. My friend has that kind of frog and he usually fed him goldfish. The goldfish was too quick for the frog and now its bigger than the frog, minnows wont get any bigger than an inch and will get caught. Besides goldfish are really fatty, and minnows are more nutricious.

No, it wouldn't make your frog glow, and it wouldn't hurt the frog, either. It would be pretty bad for the fish, though.;)
