Do I have to de-gill portabello mushrooms?

I want to stuff portabello mushrooms, I have a recipe for the stuffing, but do I need to de-gill them first?

    yes do a quick rinse(even though they say dont rinse i rinse everything) take out stem, and scrape gills with spoon, place stuffing and bake if you leave the gills it will make the stuffing soggy and you wont have as much room sounds good enjoy

    I don't know, but you might want to try grilling them with the gills up and pour Worcester sauce inside the Mushroom, it tastes like a steak.

    BTW you might want to grow your own mushrooms. Most of the food in the stores has been poisoned. Have you ever heard of Eugenics? The powers that be in the world are slowly killing people. Don't believe me, do your own research.

    Yes if they are black they will turn your stuffing dark
