  • Trump claims to have destroyed the Turkish Economy Before, when was that?

    Donald J. Trump

    @realDonaldTrump

    As I have stated strongly before, and just to reiterate, if Turkey does anything that I, in my great and unmatched wisdom, consider to be off limits, I will totally destroy and obliterate the Economy of Turkey (I’ve done before!). They must, with Europe and others, watch over...

    Are like every other politician, they pass bills without reading them. Isn't that their job? Now they have inadvertently outlawed marriage in their state. Then again are you surprised by this, they did give us W?

    Linda Brown's been investigated, scorned and had her life threatened.

    "I thought when Joe Biden bought a puppy from me, what an honor," Brown told the Daily Local News. "Out of millions of breeders in the country, in the world, he picked me."

    That was December.

    When the story got out, Brown faced backlash from pet lovers who thought the Bidens should have opted for a shelter over a breeder to find their new puppy.

    PETA seized the moment as an opportunity to blame the killing of shelter animals on people who buy from breeders. The organization's TV commercial, "Buy One, Get One Killed" ran in Delaware after the Biden puppy story made headlines.

    Dog wardens from the state showed up at Brown's Wolf Den kennel, repeatedly, for inspections.

    "I was cited for a piece of kibble on the floor and five strands of dog hair. They took a picture of that, they walked around, snapped pictures and don't tell you why," Brown told the newspaper.

    She was found "not guilty" for each citation, but hiring a lawyer for the court hearings has cost her $4,000 so far in legal fees.

    Brown says she and Biden both received death threats from animal activists.

  • What would you do in this situation?

    You are stranded on an island in the South Pacific with Osama Bin Laden. Over the years you were stranded you talked to him.(we'll assume he speaks English) He has expressed no regret over his actions, but is agreeing with you on your point of view about not killing to get your point accross and promises that if he gets off the island that he will leave terrorism behind him. Neither one of you looks like you did when you first got to the island as 5 years of nothing but fish and coconuts has left you much skinnier and you both have aged considerably, you don't know if anyone will recognize you. After 5 years together, a U.S. Navy plane spots your fire, while Osama is hidden in the forest tending to his daily business, and flies over. It comes back the next day and drops a box of supplies. You find a note that says a ship will be picking you up the next morning. Along with the note you find food, water, blankets, new clothes, rope, toiletries, fishing equipment, and a loaded pistol. The supplies have been packed in newspapers dated less than a year ago, they detail several terrorist attacks linked to Al Qaida that have left nearly 500,000 people dead all over the world, including a biological attack that killed 100,000 in Los Angeles. Osama sees the articles and is visibly happier, although he expresses regret for what happened. You know you can shoot Osama and hide the body so no one knows what you did, or you can shoot him and bring his body back as evidence of his death you might figure you'll be considered a hero, you can wait and turn him in to the ship's captain, or you can do nothing- taking him at his word that he'll change. The question before you now is, what will you do and why? (you are not limited to my four suggestions, if you can think of another solution please elaborate.)

  • What is a Conservative and what is a liberal?

    I know this question may lend itself to venting by those who don't want to so much as answer the question as they do show how ignorant they are, please answer the question honestly and without putting down the group you don't identify yourself with. I have asked this before and no one really seemed to know, but the two terms are used quite a bit on YA so YA community, define the words. Oh one other thing, no fair saying that republicans are conservative and democrats are liberal, I think we all know this is a fallacy.

    If you move into a house, pay first and last month's rent up front, live there for 5 years, and then give 30 days notice, which the lease requires: Can the landlord demand the difference in rent between what you paid for last month's rent and what the rent is now?

    I have been receiving a notice from my firewall that ip address 85.255.113.10 is being blocked from accessing my computer, yeah! it is doing its job. Today, I get a message in yahoo answers very own advertising box that the ad from IP address 85.255.113.10 is not available, hmmmm. Have we really gotten to the point where advertisers are allowed to access our personal information, without our consent? I find this a personal invasion of my privacy! I dont' know who the advertiser is, but if I find out, I will NEVER buy anything from them.
