Which knee do you kneel on to propose? My girlfriend told me it has to be the left. Is that true?

I'm sure she was joking or teasing. Kneel on whichever knee, or don't kneel at all.

Seriously!?! It doesn't matter which knee you kneel down on! Some men don't kneel at all! It's not a requirement, just nice! ;) My best friend's husband was so excited/nervous/caught up in the moment, that he completely forgot to kneel!! He just asked!! ...If it's the right person asking, it won't matter which knee you kneel on, or if you kneel at all! Don't stress about it! ;)

You can do many things that involve kneeling or not kneeling. Only 60% of proposals these days begin on bended knee. It does not matter which knee is bended.

Three possibilities:

1. She was joking with you. I'd hate to have you follow the advice to dump her if she was only joking.

2. She truly believes that non-sense, in which case she's very high maintenance. If so, dumping her would be a good idea.

3. You are joking with us.

Not only does a guy not have to kneel on a particular knee, he doesn't have to kneel *AT ALL.* My husband, who is a foot taller than me, asked me to marry him while we were both standing up.

You can kneel on either of your knees. She is just having fun with you. You don't have to kneel. You can propose any way you want too. She will be happy that you propose..

That sounds like she was just teasing you. Kneel on which ever knee you are comfortable with and I bet you she won't even notice or remember which one it was anyway because she won't be paying any attention to anything but your face and the ring.

Kneel on your right and see if she still says yes. As if any woman notices which knee her man kneels on.

If she's is more worried about which knee you are on than the complete surprise that you are asking her to marry you and all then I wouldn't even get on a knee. Or take the breath to ask her to marry me...

On the other hand...the answer is.....you can be on both or which ever is comfortable to you! IT DOESN'T MATTER!

Propose to her! It doesn't matter which knee. We are too overwhelmed to even realize which knee you're on haha.
