Who's Vampire world do you prefer?!?

Who's vampire world do you prefer:

Laurell K. Hamilton's where Vampires and Werecreatures are part of the everyday thing..

Charlaine Harris' where Vampires are out but were-creatures are still secret...

Patricia Briggs .. Werewolves just came out (not sure about Vampires) and Fae are out.. and yes I am going to say it..

Stephenie Meyer's where they are both secret (although the Elders of the Tribe know about the wolves and cold ones)

Or is there another one you'd rather suggest?

Update:

Laurell K. Hamilton, Charlaine Harris and Patricia Briggs are nothing at all like Stephenie Meyers Twilight.

Hamilton's is the most creative. I also like Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles.

    Bram Stoker's and/or Anne Rice's.

I haven't read anything by Laurell K. Hamilton, Charlaine Harris, or Patricia Briggs, and if their books are anything like Stephenie Meyer's... I don't think I want to. I'm not a SMeyer fan.

Oh, and I'm not big on werewolves, anyways. =)

I like Hamilton early vampire books because they show a world that is just slightly to the left of ours, and both teases with the familiarity and shocks with the uncanny.

I also enjoyed Anne Rice's scenario, because her world could realistically sit next to ours. Again I prefer the earlier books, the later ones like Queen of the Damned were a bit too weird for me.

    Definitely Anne Rice's.

I'd pick Anne Rice, but from your list I choose Charlaine Harris' world.

    Lestat PWNS Edward.

    Bram Stoker's

Most modern vampires seem to feel the need to make their vampires even more powerful with less consequences for being a vampire. It's turned into wouldn't it be cool if you were as powerful as a vampire, but never had to kill anyone, sleep in a grave, or go to hell?

Anne Rice, she basically created a whole new world for them. before that, vampires were''t really popular even, at least not the vampire who still has feelings and humaness.
