Have all of you seen any of these commercials? They are pretty cute, and have always been one of my favorites. It centers around the secret family recipe of the baked beans. Duke (the loveable Golden Retriever) knows the recipe and is willing to sell it.

I own an irish setter and that is totally a golden retriever. Some golden's look really red unstill you put one next to my dog and realize they aren't red but golden red in color. Even the faces are different than irish setters!

That is soo a retriever my aunt has setters they don't even look that alike sorry

Your friend is correct he is a Golden Retriever with the darker coat coloring.

Its a golden retriever.. the breed does vary in shades of gold.. ranging from light/pale colors to a rich reddish gold. Duke is just a reddish colored one.
