Honda has been using 5W20 oil for quite some time. This is a semi synthetic blend of oil. You can also use a fully synthetic 5W20 like Mobil 1 for better oil quality and longer lasting performance.

depends on how much mileage and where you live...10w-30 for summer months and 5w-30 for winter thinner oil means less work to start up...and depending on miles id run a synthetic blend or fully...something live syn power by valvoline...or some castrol syntec blend or full syntec..be prepared to pay 5-7 for blend and 7 and up for full synthetic

5w30 or 10w30 and auto zone oil is same thing as castroil oil i would go 5 w 30 in winter and 10w30 in summer unless you live where it don't get cold than go 10w30 if it stays cold go 5w30

520 was not mainstream like it is now. 530 was recomended at that point i believe.

5W20 will work just fine, just buy a reputable brand, not the generics or store brands.
