Will The Supreme Court Rule that McCain was Not eligible To Serve as President Anyway?

Denofrio asked that the court order New Jersey Secretary of State (SOS) Nina Mitchell Wells to remove the names of Republican candidate John McCain, Democratic candidate Barack Obama and Socialist Workers Party candidate Roger Calero from New Jersey ballots.

According to Denofrio, the three candidates are not “natural born citizens,” as required by the Constitution to hold the office of President of the United States.

Denofrio states McCain was born in Panama, Calero was born in Nicaragua and Obama’s birthplace has not been verified.

So what do all of you McCain supporters screaming about Obama ahve to say now? Are you as incensed about McCain as well? Or still Just Obama regardless..

But to tell you the truth a I think its all crap - I don't know the colero guy - but Obama's and McCain's will get thrown out. Just curious as if you would feel the same way about McCain not being a Naturalized citizen?

Update:

I agree - I'm just trying to point out that any friggin nut job can bring a case challenging someone's citizenship - and that doesn't make his suit a Valid claim. most claim merekly because a suit has been brought that means oObam isn't a citizen - by that same logic neither is McCain. Like I said - I think its all crap and both re Natural born Citizens

Actually, that was an interesting legal question, but a lower court ruled on it that he was, and McCain DID provide all documents...

Policy should say kids of our military citizens born on bases are born as if in the US, but it hadn't been determined what 'natural born meant', and still hasn't by the supreme court. To muddy the waters, after his birth the Congress passed a law 'naturalizing' all children of US Citizens born in the Panama Zone, which makes it sounds as if he were 'naturalized'.

Now I'm sure it will be thrown out as to McCain as a moot question.

  • By a technicality, since McCain was born in Panama more specifically the Panama Canal Zone at the time of his birth the area was still an American held territory. Therefore, he is a natural born citizen.

McCain presented his records to a bi-partisan Senate committee many, many months ago, when he was first challenged on his eligibility.

The committee found that he is eligible, with no question. Yes, he was born in Panama, on a U.S. military reservation, to parents who were U.S. citizens, which makes him a natural born citizen. Period. Slam dunk. No debate.

Now, can we see Obama's records? Why are they sealed? Why did Kenya seal the hospital records if he wasn't born there? What records could there have been to seal?

McCain was born out of the country, but both parents were US citizens, so no big deal.

If it's found out that Obama was born out of the country, he couldn't be pres because one parent needs to be citizen while the other can be no less than a US national that lived in the US for one year. Obama''s pappy was neither.

Doesn't matter if Obama ever proves anything, which he hasn't, because this country is getting to be so corrupt that he'll get a pass either way.

End of story, both of them.

I think its interesting the Neocons who constantly post about the supposed Supreme Court hearing with regard to Obama's eligibility neglect to mention the McCain challenge.

Neither case is likely to be taken up by the Court. And, if they were, it wouldn't be to decide that issue but rather to decide whether the plaintiff had standing to bring the suit with was dismissed by the lower courts.

McCain is a natural born citizen of the USA despite what nut jobs say. The only thing that kept him from being elected was the fact that his opponent got more votes.

because of fact that is a few thing that Obama is against. I comprehend that some grass chewing corn bread people have a frustrating time information what occurs in black and different minority neighborhoods. weapons are too particularly abused by means of the hoods and by means of taking a solid stance for it the conservative judges who additionally voted against a infant rapist getting the dying penalty have shown their own 2 facedness. BTW, taking the midsection in this project is nice with me because of fact i might desire to care much less approximately gun regulations and discover that the fascist republicans returned do no longer care what occurs to minorities. Neither did they care approximately that incident in Virgina Tech that gun nuts have missed. you comprehend the guy with psychological matters that became able to legally purchase weapons that the gun nuts desire to declare he offered them illegally while he particularly offered them at a interior of reach broker. Or how relating to the columbine incident, and doubtless many different mass killings that are going to ensue because of irresponsibility of the GOP.

But, McCain provided the Original birth certificate, while Obama did not. We could care less about where he was born, but it is a requirement to give the original documents, which McCain did and Obama neglected to do.
