President elect Obama will be the presdent come Jan 20th. He will be the president of our country, not the president of the Black population. Other than in a historical context, the fact that he is a black man will have no impact on his integrity/intellligence/and ability to govern our country and govern it well If he fails to govern it well it will not be due to his skin color. A lot of people feel tha Presdien Bush had failed policies...He looks awfully white to me! If he pardons a black convict it will be for justifiable reasons and with the powers allowed for his position. If you are afraid that he will run a racist Gvt just take a look at the racial profileof all his newly appointed cabinetmemebers/assistants/advisers. He is selecting the individuals not on skin color but rather on how he and his tranistion team perceive the capabilitittes of these individuals to undertake the task at hand and to hopefully bring them to some sucessful conclusions...We are all winners if he suceeds

Nothing can stop him from pardoning convicts but I really doubt he will give them guns he wants to make it where law abiding citizens can't afford guns and ammo as it is he is a real danger to society
