We are looking for some wine to have for Thanksgiving Dinner!?

Your best bet is to go to a well stocked wine store and tell them you want a nice couple of bottles of wine but you don't want to spend too much. Wine there will be no more expensive than at Walmart.

You should be able to get some really good wines for around $10 or $12 a bottle. It is a myth that you can't get good wine from a good wine store without spending a bunch of money.

What makes a wine expensive is not necessarily how good it is. What drives the price up is limited supply and high demand. Granted, most expensive wine will be of good quality but there is a lot of good quality innexpensive wine also. Just ask and you should receive more help than you expected.

If you like raspberries, get some Framboise Lambic. It's actually a beer, but you won't know it. It has the most amazing raspberry taste. The first word is pronounced Fram-Bwa. Just ask the liquor store to see their Lambic beer and it will be there.

Try some Boones Farm, that stuff tastes like berries, or kiwi, or cherry, etc. Why dont you both settle on one bottle for dinner and enjoy a nice port wine for dessert( it tastes like dark chocolate)

A pinot noir will have a fruity, cherry pie type of taste. You might also try a nice reisling for a berry fruity taste. the pinot noir is a red wine and your husband should enjoy it.
