Why won't the McCain Supported just admit that McCain wasn't the best, and fairly lost because of that?
Why does it have to he is black, all the minorities voted for him, and everyone wanted to make history. Why does it have to be his charismatic like Hitler.
Are people forgetting John McCain wasn't a good candidate, on top of the fact he picked Sarah Palin that was disaster.
Everyone knows the biggest concerns were economy, war, and health care. McCain, was going to keep the troops in Iraq for a long time, polls showed Americans didnt not like that idea.
McCain has no solution to the economy, only until the debate and then it wasn't what the American people want to hear. He also said the economy was strong a few weeks before that. Polls showed that Americans trusted Obama more with economy
And heath care, What heath care plan? There was none, it was just maintaining the crap we had and saying doctors, and patients can go out of state, so we can all waste gas, and give us $5,000.
Why can't McCain Supporters just say he fairly lost, or they can not see it that way?

I hear you, lovely lady, very well said. Don't forget, Barack wouldn't have won if it wasn't for all the white folk who voted him in. There are alot of white folk who aren't racists, who saw through McCain, his lies, his " JOKE" Palin. WTF....to choose that crazy woman as his VP. After that he din't have a chance. Alot of it is race, can you see the questions they be askin on here? We have come along way, though, cause a whole lotta white folkes put their trust in Obama, and didn't see race!

I backed McCain, but you generalize. There is a point you can't refute, though. Had there been laws in place to have people vote in their state of principle residence- absentee, if necessary, then there are states Obama would not have won. I refer particularly to college students. It would be interesting to see what percentage of the votes in certain states were from those who are temporary residents/ attend colleges from out-of-state and whether or not it would have made an overall difference. I am only certain it would have in Indiana, where I live. I do not dispute the way the electoral votes worked out, I do not dispute the votes at all, except that I have long been a supporter of a movement in Indiana to have part-time residents vote in their home state/city. (Which is why I happen to be aware of this in the first place.) Obama won Indiana 51% to 49%. A full 10% (+ or - a percent) are temporary residents as I have described. Almost all of those voted Obama. Had they voted in their home states, Indiana would have been McCains'. Okay, so as the laws stand, Obama won. I and thousands of others in this state will add this to the examples of why our state laws should change. This sort of misleading voting-results is exactly what we want to prevent. Not necessarily Obama himself, but that temporary residents should be able to influence how our state or city is run, too often against the majority will of permanent residents.
Some answerers are juvenile ijits. Sorry, can't help it. They make assumptions that Repubs are hicks, idiots, uneducated and stupid. (that sure makes THEM sound fair and unbiased, doesn't it?) I am college-educated, internationally-traveled, have friends around the world and my IQ is 165. These are the Democrats I love to make fun of, because they leave themselves wide open to it.

It baffels me that even after all the recent backpedaling you still choose to defend BO. Eventually you will figure out that you were duped.
The unfortunate truth is that hundreds of thousands of blacks who never bothered to vote before, voted for BO because of his skin color. Not his policies which are fairy tales. The "Americans" who agree with his take on Iraq are certainly not the ones who are actually serving over there - they voted 10 to 1 for McCain. Health care? Are you kidding, unless you are an illegal you will see no "change" or pay through the teeth.Have you noticed how quickly he is trying to establish some semblance of an excuse for why he must now re-neg on all his empty promises? You will.
I am sorry but facts are facts and had he been a white man with the same message, he wouldn't be president right now. I am sure to be called racist but oh well those who know me also know my children are blacker than Mr Obama and my issue is not with his skin.

Why can't Obama supporters realize that not everybody wil bow down? Everybody does not listen to Obama like he is the messiah. Do you understand the government, politics, and how it works? You do realize that everything Obama promised, will be very, very difficult for him to stay true to, right? If not, go back to 5th grade.
I voted for McCain, not because I thought he could do as well as I would like to see in a President; but because he cares more about the country, the people of the country, and I agree with him on many more issues that Obama. Want to talk about the economy? In less than 6 weeks of being elected, not even inaugurated, President elect has voted on, agreed, and said certain things to happen ... making our country's debt another 3 trillion + (up to 8 tril now people ... wake up!)

Because everyone has an opinion of what is the best.
If for some reason the tables were turn, would you have said that McCain was the best?
I don't think either of the 2 are the best right now.

They are stupid that's why. They are a bunch of redneck dingbats who put everything on race, including their lively hood. Here are the facts:
1. It took more than just blacks to vote Obama in. He needed the white vote as well as the vote from women.
2. Most blacks vote democratic, just look at Clinton and even Kerry.
3. Obama is just as white as he is black and he owns both races, but of course the rednecks wouldn't admit that ever.
4. Obama is a US citizen and that was already put to rest, but the loonies keep opening up that bag.
5. He is not a Muslim and he has said many times that he is christian.
I am glad I researched and don't believe all the bull that the redneck hillbilly reps are spreading.

well i think your answer lies within the fact that deep down america is still a very racist country. maybe not a deadly lynching kind of racism, but maybe a worse kind. One that affects our everyday lives in the little decisions we make. which way we walk home from home, school, work. it does not matter, this "racism" changes everything we do. even though it is obvious that america is not hatefully racist (on the whole) we can still see that race made the decision 0'8 and not our votes. don't deny it, if not consciously than subliminily. You know race got your vote.

Yes, McCain made the mistake of being honest!
Fortunately, Obama will not deliver on any of his major promises. The less he does, the better off we will all be!
